Eyesight:
Regular use of honey mixed with the carrot juice helps to improve the eyesight. It should be taken one hour before meals in the morning.


Cough:
Mixture of equal quantities of honey and ginger juice is a good expectorant. It gives immediate relief in symptoms like cold, cough, sore throat, congestion of chest and runny nose.


Asthma:
Mix half a gram of black pepper powder with honey and ginger juice mixture (equal quantity). Take this mixture at least three times a day. It helps to cure asthma.


High Blood Pressure:: Hypertension 
Just check out some very effective home remedies for controlling high blood pressure. But at the same time it is advisable that a person who is already on some medications for high blood pressure must and should not leave their medicines immediately without consulting their respective doctors.


1.Garlic helps to lower blood pressure by 5 to 10%. It can also lower cholesterol, reduce triglyceride levels, does not allow the clot formation, and increases blood circulation. Thus including garlic in the diet in any form help to control blood pressure.


2.Eat 1 Papaya on an empty stomach daily for a month. Do not eat anything after for about 2 hours.


3.Being physically active is one of the most important steps to prevent or control high blood pressure.


4.Reduce salt intake, smoking, and alcohol intake and avoid fried foods.


5.Increase the intake of fruits and green vegetables in the diet.
Reduce stress by doing meditation.


6.Try to consume at least 2 liters of water in a day.


7.Try to take Saraswat Powder with warm milk, this is an herb and very effective in controlling high blood pressure.


8.Morning walk is also very helpful for hypertension treatment.

Low Blood Pressure
The patient with chronic low blood pressure may complain of lethargy, weakness, fatigue, and dizziness. The patient may faint, especially if arterial pressure is lowered further when he assumes an erect position. These symptoms are presumably due to a decrease in perfusion of blood to the brain, heart, skeletal muscle, and other organs.

1.The juice of raw beetroot is one of the most effective home remedies for low blood pressure. The patient should drink a cup of this juice twice daily for treating this condition Considerable improvement will be noticeable within a week.


The use of salt is valuable in low blood pressure. Until the blood pressure reaches normal levels through proper dietary and other remedies, it is essential that the patient should take salty foods and half a teaspoon of salt in water daily.


2.They should undertake breathing and other light exercises like walking, swimming and cycling and try to spend much time in fresh air.


3.Try to avoid constipation and have proper stools. If the constipation is prolonged try to take some remedies to remove constipation like esobghol one spoon with warm milk before going to sleep will help relieve constipation.


4.The patient should adopt an exclusive fresh fruit diet for about five days, taking three meals a day of fresh fruity fruits at five-hourly intervals.


5.Thereafter he may adopt a fruit and milk diet for two or three weeks. After the fruit and milk diet the patient may gradually embark upon a well balanced diets consisting of seeds nuts and grains with emphasis on fresh fruit and raw vegetables.

Liver Care
he liver is the largest single gland in the body. Liver performs a number of important functions in the body. When the liver is healthy it works very smoothly. But the liver can be affected by a number of serious disorders, such as virus infections, parasites, and disturbances of the circulation, stone formation in the bile ducts, injuries due to poisonous substances, and various kinds.

The liver has another very important function, that of detoxifying or destroying many harmful poisons. When the liver is sick these functions are impaired and soon the whole body suffers.

Thus it is very important to take proper care of Liver. So, few home remedies are been mentioned for maintaining a healthy Liver.
1.Papaya has been found beneficial in the treatment of cirrhosis of the liver, caused by alcoholism and malnutrition. Take a tablespoon of juice by grinding the seeds, mix with ten drops of fresh limejuice, and take it once or twice daily for about a month as a medicine for this disease. This is one of the important home remedies for liver care.

2.The herb trailing eclipta, botanically known as eclipta Alba (Bhringaraj ), has proved invaluable in cirrhosis of the liver. Take the juice of all parts of this plant in doses of one teaspoon, mixed with one teaspoon of honey, three times daily.

3.Picrorhiza known as picrorhiza kurroa (Katuki) is a drug of choice in ayurveda for cirrhosis of the liver among adults. Mix a tablespoon of the powder with an equal quantity of honey, take this thrice daily.

4.The juice of carrots, in combination with spinach juice, has been found beneficial in the treatment of cirrhosis of the liver. Mix -200 ml of Spinach juice with 300 ml of carrot juice to prepare 500 ml or half a liter of combined juices.

5.Vegetables such as beets, squashes, bitter gourd, carrots, radishes, and papaya are especially useful in this condition.

6.A licorice root extract called glycyrrhizin has also shown good result as a possible remedy for chronic hepatitis C and liver cancer.

7.Application of hot and cold compresses, for two to three minutes each, on the liver area are beneficial.
Diabetes Care:
Some home remedies help to regulate the blood sugar level. You can try out some of these remedies which compliment along with the diet for diabetics and regular exercises to lower blood sugar levels and protect from diabetes related damages.

1.1 litre of cinnamon water daily. Cinnamon contains a chemical to help utilize blood sugar naturally in your body. Add 3 table spoon of cinnamon to 1 litre of boiling water. Simmer for 20 minutes in a low flame, and then strain the mixture.

2.Fresh or dried bitter gourd (bitter melon) or 2 ounces of its juice every day. Bitter melon increases the insulin secreting cells in the pancreas and daily intake of juice reduces the risk of developing diabetic retinopathy.

3.Wild (Black) cumin boiled in water regularly.

4.Equal quantities of turmeric powder and dried gooseberry powder with honey or drink equal quantities of gooseberry juice and fresh turmeric juice in an empty stomach regularly.

5.Regularly, the juice of crushed 'touch me not' with its roots.

6.Garlic every day early in the morning in an empty stomach.

7.Tender curry leaves (fresh) twice a day.

8.Crush guava leaves, a handful and 3 grams of cumin together. Boil with one glass of water and make it half.

9.Drink 8 glass of water in the morning and walk for one hour.

10.The leaves of gymnema sylvestre (Gurmur- a climbing vine), a traditional Ayurvedic medicine for diabetics, significantly reduces the metabolic effects of sugar by preventing the intestines from absorbing the sugar molecules during the process of digestion. Add 3 quarters of gymnema powder to one glass of boiling water, strain and drink it warm twice a day, 1 hour before breakfast and 1 hour before dinner for best results. The leaves can also be ground and had. It has the property of blocking sugary taste and thus curbs the craving for sweet things.

Leucoderma / Vitiligo
Leucoderma, also known as vitiligo, is a distressing skin condition. The word literally means white skin. There is a gradual loss of the pigment melanin from the skin layers which results in white patches. These patches look ugly, especially in persons with a dark complexion. The condition does not cause any organic harm. This disease is caused neither by any germs, nor is it due to bad blood. It is considered to be neither infectious nor contagious.
 
1.A paste made from radish seeds is extremely useful in treating leucoderma. Take about 35 grams of these seeds and powder them in 2 tsp of vinegar. Apply this paste on the white patches.

2.In 8 liters of water, soak about 500 gm of turmeric. Boil it, till the point when only one-liter water is left. Strain the water and add 500 ml mustard oil in it. Strain the mixture and apply to the white Leucoderma patches every morning and evening for a couple of months.

3.Another useful remedy for leucoderma is red clay found by the river side or on hill slopes. The clay should be mixed in ginger juice in a ratio of 1:1, and applied over the white spots once a day. The copper contained in the clay seems to bring back skin pigmentation. Ginger juice also serves as a mild stimulant, facilitating increased blood flow to the spots.

4.Drinking water kept overnight in a copper vessel will also help.

Acidity
Acidity refers to the excess secretion of acid by the gastric glands of the stomach. When there is less secretion of acid the food is not digested properly and in case of excess secretion it gives rise to a condition known as acidity.
1.Sucking a piece of clove will give relief from acidity.

2.Consumption of milk and milk products is beneficial during acidity.
Intake of fresh mint juice daily is the best home remedy for acidity.

3.Taking a mixture of two teaspoons of apple cider vinegar and two teaspoons of honey in a glass of water before meals, will reduce the chances of acidity and is another good home remedy for acidity.

4.Another effective acidity cure is to boil cumin seeds in a glass of water and drink it with meals.

5.The fruits like watermelon, banana and cucumber also reduce acidity and are good natural remedy for acidity.

6.One of the effective home remedies for acidity is Herbal tea containing spearmint (pudina) and liquorice (mulethi) is also beneficial instead of normal tea, coffee and other aerated drinks.

7.Drinking water in the early morning controls acidity, as water is a good neutralizer for acid. This is one of the effective acidity treatments.

8.A good natural remedy for acidity is to drink coconut water 3-4 times a day also prevents acidity.
